Run the seafront. Every week.

A free running community in Limassol. We meet at Molos Sculpture Park for about 5 km along the water, and once a month we do something bigger. No fee, no timing, every pace welcome.

We are settling the day and time now. Leave your email and you will have them first.

Every week

The training run

Molos Sculpture Park. About 5 km along the seafront, plus a 1 km loop for anyone walking or pushing a buggy. Free, no timing, and no sign-up needed for each run — once you are on the list, you just turn up.

Once a month

Something bigger

A longer route, a photographer, sometimes a guest or a partner. The days worth bringing a friend to.

What for

An accessible playground

Most playgrounds have a step, a gate, or sand at the entrance. That is enough to keep a child in a wheelchair outside, watching. We run for one where nobody is left outside.

Rules

  • Minimum age 4. Children under 11 must stay beside an adult for the whole distance.
  • Under-18s must be registered by a parent or guardian.
  • Buggies and prams are welcome. Please start at the back.
  • No dogs, bicycles, scooters, skates or any wheels other than buggies and wheelchairs.
  • Wheelchair users are welcome on the paved promenade.
  • This is a training run, not a race. There is no timing and no finish order — but there is always someone to run with.
  • Please keep to the right and let faster runners pass on the left. The promenade stays open to the public.

Getting there

  • On foot along the promenade — from either direction.
  • By car — paid parking along the seafront and on the side streets; in the morning there is usually space.
  • City buses stop on the seafront.
  • There are public toilets in the park.
  • Water at the start and the finish. Bring your own bottle — we do not hand out single-use plastic.

No single-use plastic

No single-use plastic. Bring your own bottle — we will refill it at the start and the finish. We take everything we bring away with us, and we would rather leave the seafront cleaner than we found it. If you see litter on the route, pick it up.

Why we run

Most playgrounds have a step, a gate, or sand at the entrance. That is enough to keep a child in a wheelchair on the outside, watching the others play.

Our goal is a sports playground in Limassol built so that nobody is left outside. The organisation that will receive the money is being confirmed.

We are not collecting money yet. We are getting the legal side right first, with a lawyer, because money raised for a child's playground deserves to be handled properly. When we start, every euro will be published here with the name of the organisation that receives it. The runs themselves are free and always will be.

Questions

When do you run?

Every week, at Molos Sculpture Park. We are settling the day and time now, and everyone on the list hears as soon as it is fixed. After that it does not change.

Do I need to sign up for every run?

No. Join the list once so we can tell you about changes and the monthly events. After that, just turn up.

How fast do you run?

Every pace. Someone will be running yours, and nobody is left behind on the way back.

What if I have never run 5 km?

Walk it. The 1 km loop exists for exactly this, and plenty of people do the short one for months before the long one.

Is it really free?

Yes, all of it. We are not collecting money at all yet — we are getting the legal side right first. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly and in advance.

Can children take part?

Yes, from the age of 4, with an adult beside them if they are under 11. The 1 km loop is made for families.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Dogs are not allowed at our runs.

Is it accessible?

The seafront path is flat and paved, with no cars. Wheelchair users and buggies are welcome on the 1 km loop.

Do I need a medical certificate?

No. You confirm you are fit and healthy when you join. If you have any doubt, see a doctor first.

What happens if it rains?

We run. We only cancel when it is genuinely unsafe, and then we email everyone by 20:00 the evening before.

Will there be photos?

Yes, for our website and social media. You can opt out when you join, and we will give you a coloured wristband. Email us and we will remove any photo.
